Maskey | Promo Video - New Company Filmed Specifically for the Maskey U.K. Airport stores
Filmed in london, capturing the cool vibe of London without going 'too london' with simply most iconic buildings, however still getting the red phonebox, double decker bus, taxi and union jack flag in for sure!
Early start at 6am so the streets are clear as much as london can be. Even during this early start of the Covid Pandemic the streets were still getting busy by 7am.
Mostly filmed via motorised gimbal varying up the shots with follows, pans, trucks and stationary. Wide for each establishing shot then to the portrait product tight shot (the mask).
Filmed in 60Fps for a beautiful slowmo and ability to speed up and down for cool transitions and a hovering glance at a half speed close up.
All filmed flat and post graded to add vibrancy but keeping dynamic range and to match through out as lighting was inconsistent with the sun and tall buildings and being early morning to late afternoon.
The production consisted of 4 models to wear the various masks. For selection of the exact locations i utilised various shops and buildings that have similar colour themes to the various masks. Gained hours worth of great footage but the client wanted sent through an immediate request for a 48 hour turn around of a 20 sec promo with specific detailing. So here it is...
